L.League 1994

With the commencement of the J.League in 1993, the following year the Japan Ladies Soccer League was renamed the L.League. It ran from May 22nd until December 4th.

As in 1993, matches lasted eighty minutes, with an extra twenty minutes of sudden death V-Goal (Golden Goal) extra time to be played in the event of a tied score. If there was no winning V-Goal scored, the game went to a penalty shoot-out.

Yomiuri Nippon SC Ladies Beleza were renamed as Yomiuri Seiyu Beleza.
Newly promoted Urawa Motobuto Ladies FC were renamed as Urawa Ladies FC.

In the tables below, scorelines in parentheses indicate the results of penalty shoot-outs. Games decided as a result of a V-Goal are indicated by vg. In the league tables, the 80 mins column indicates the number of victories achieved in the normal eighty minute period.
